Test # 3 in Chemistry: Thursday, Oct. 22nd

You need to create a 1/2 page of notes, front side only, done by hand

Test Questions will cover:

1 Metric Conversions: Can you convert by moving the decimal?
2 Graph: What are the required labels on all graphs? Can you use quantitative descriptions in your analysis?
3 Particle Movement: Can you draw the particle movement and arrangement for different solids, liquids and gases?
4 Matter:  Which state of matter is the most energetic, least energetic? Why are certain objects classified as either Solid, Liquid, Gas or Plasma? Physical vs. Chemical Changes...how are they different, how are they similar. Can you identify whether something is a chemical or physical change? Boyle's Gas Law and Charles' Gas Law - Can you describe the relationships between pressure, temperature and volume?
5 Density: (You need to be able to do 1 and 2 step problems)
  • - Find Volume first and then find density
  • -Be able to use the Triangle Trick or Algebraic Equations to solve for either mass, volume or density
6 Vocabulary: All the words in science you have learned will be used in multiple choice questions.
