Test # 2 in Chemistry

Test Questions will cover:

1 Dimensional Analysis - Be able to convert within the metric system. (e.g.. milliliters to liters, centimeters to kilometers, etc.)
2 The 5 States of Matter - Be aware of their unique characteristics, how the particles move & are arranged in solids, liquids and gases, vocabulary that addresses their physical changes (evaporation, condensation, sublimation, freezing, melting),
3 Periodic Table - Know how to find percent, where are most of the gases  are located on the P.T. know the liquids on the P.T.
4 Physical Properties - Ductile, Malleable, Solubility, Density, Compressibility. State, Malleability, Thermal Conductivity...know what they mean and be able to give examples or identify an example
5 Physical vs .Chemical Changes - Know how these changes are different, do they have similarities?, be able to identify whether a specific example is a physical or chemical change and why.
6 Simple Density Problems - (mass divided by volume) You will be able to use your calculator
7 Vocabulary: atom, compound, molecule, meniscus, element

You need to create a 1/2 page, front side only, of notes to help you on Thursday's test.
