Test # 1 in Chemistry
Test Questions will cover:
| 1 | Abbreviations - Be aware of commonly used abbreviations in note taking. |
| 2 | Tools - Tool Names, What they Measure, Unit Labels, Reading Graduated Cylinders and Balances, meter sticks & Thermometers |
| 3 | Dimensional Analysis - Be able to convert within the metric system. (e.g.. milliliters to liters, centimeters to kilometers, etc.) |
| 4 | Temperature - Be aware of water's three Celsius points for freezing, room temperature and boiling point to determine state of matter) |
| 5 | Simple Density Problems - (mass divided by volume) You will be able to use your calculator |
| 6 | The difference between Accuracy and Precision (pg. 24 in IR) |
| 7 | Vocabulary: mass, volume, theory, law, model, temperature |
